I recently discovered that you can self-publish any book you've written for free on Amazon as a Kindle E-Book. I have published the first two books in my original Magical Girl Series, Prima Power, using Kindle Direct Publishing. KDP is completely free, but you do need to have an Amazon account to use it. Thankfully, that is free as well. Here are some tips for publishing your story.
If your story is written, publish it in novel format, not script format. Try to make it as professional as possible and avoid grammar and spelling errors. If possible, have somebody read over it for you before you publish it. If you are not a naturally talented writer, I would suggest asking a friend who is a good writer if they would mind being your editor. Make sure you list them as such when you publish the book.
If you lack the talent to draw a cover for your story, you can use KDP's cover creator to create a pretty good one.
You can publish Manga using KDP, but take care to ensure that it is well-drawn and properly formatted. If you use Manga Studio 5/Clip Studio Paint to draw your manga, you can choose to export it as a Kindle e-book under the File menu.
Finally, make sure that your story does not contain any material that you do not own the rights to. For example, references to a Disney Movie, a popular song, or a specific device--For example, saying that your character uses a smartphone is fine, but saying that they use a Samsung Galaxy Note is not. Your story should contain only things that you own.
Lastly, you must be at least 18 years of age to publish your book using KDP and you must have a bank account. Amazon will use your bank account info to direct deposit your royalties from the sale of your book into your bank account. If you are below 18 years of age, you can ask your parents to publish it on your behalf. KDP has options for that.
